THE ASTROLOGY OF SELF-REALIZATION

Most Astrologers only use the sacred science of Astrology as a form of divination, to try and predict outcomes in the near future for their clients. But what usually drives or motivates people to want to know what is about to happen to them? Fear, but how can one live in the present moment (where all true, spiritual development occurs) if they’re living in resistance?

Astrology was created by sages and mystics who understood the deep, archetypal correlations between the outer cosmos, heavenly bodies and their inner selves; it is my belief that if one isn’t using this tool to enhance their spiritual development, overcome their deepest fears and challenges and to ultimately, realise illumination or self-realization within, then their misusing it.

The Astrological community is almost laughable in its ignorance nowadays. Most only wish to use Astrology to compare their charts with another’s, to see whether their compatible with them or to try and justify their ex’s abusive behaviour or maybe even their own. They do not quite understand yet, what a sacred tool they have at their disposal, but I guess that’s what they mean by the adage: don’t blame the hammer, blame the one who’s holding it!

Yes, I understand Astrology can be used for many purposes, but again, if fear is motivating your use of it, then you’re likely going to be using it in a way that it keeps you in your comfort zone, imprisoned by the very fears you wish to overcome. The tool then no longer becomes a tool, but a prison!

What is Self-Realization?
